I was working on a large project one day and found myself in need of a work table. I didn’t want something that would be in the way when the project was complete, so I decided to make a table I could take apart and store when not in use. I decided to make the table with a series of interlocking components. I laid out the legs and cross bracing in our Cad software program…
The table components will be constructed from 3/4’” plywood and when assembled will accept a 4’ x 8’ sheet of ¾” plywood for the top. Our MultiCam router cut out the components in approximately 30 minutes. Just for fun, I used a 60 degree conic bit to engrave our name onto the cross bracing.
The picture below is an assembled leg for the table. The entire table can be set up in about 5 minutes!
